To a lost world & to the spiritual growth

of believers in the family of god

We at Grace want to extend to you a warm welcome to our website.

Grace Community Church was founded in April 7, of 1995 and has since been ministering to the Tri-county area and beyond through worldwide missions.

Since Grace church was founded on the literal Word of God, we boldly declare its truths through teaching and practice.

Grace is also unique in that we are a collection of people from different paths and experiences but all united under the grace and mercy of a holy God.  We would be more than pleased if you would visit us.  I’m sure you will find a warm welcome, inspirational worship and engaging fellowship.

Our Mission Statement

Grace Community Church is an outreach ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel of grace to a lost world and to the spiritual growth of believers in the family of God.

Our Name

Grace - Emphasizes our dependency on God and our freedom in expression.

Community - Speaks of our scope of involvement and concern.

Church - Speaks of our identity as a people called out to worship and serve Jesus Christ, the King of kings.

Our Faith

We Believe....

  1. The Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, a complete revelation of God's will for us to be saved from sin and judgment and the final authority for our faith and practice.
  2. In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. That Jesus Christ is both true God and true man having been born of a virgin. He died on a cross according to the Scriptures, which satisfied God's wrath and provided for our redemption. Having been raised from the dead He ascended into heaven where He acts as our High Priest and Advocate.
  4. That the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father seeks to glorify Jesus Christ. During this age He convicts man of sin, regenerates the sinner, mediates the life of Christ, indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for Godly living and service.
  5. That man is made in the image of God and thereby a moral creature. Having fallen into sin he stands condemned and is under the judgment of God. Only through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit can man be saved.
  6. That only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ can God forgive sin and justify the sinner. Through the act of faith, man obtains salvation having been born again by the Holy Spirit and thus becomes a child of God.
  7. That water baptism and the Lord's supper are ordinances that are to be observed by the church to complement spiritual truths. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation.
